At this point, the department for foreign countries plays an important role. Through many contacts to partner companies in Europe and overseas our collaborators carry out since many years the mutual exchange and testing of breeding material with the goal to achieve excellent varieties for the farmers.

As a result of consequent efforts for many years, numerous varieties have been successfully placed on the international market with the help of SAATBAU LINZ's development and marketing know-how.
In order to be able to work on the main foreign markets optimally, SAATBAU LINZ has founded subsidiaries in Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Russian Federation.

This put the foundation-stone for a successful internationalization of SAATBAU LINZ as Austrian company abroad a long time before the negotiations of accession of Eastern European countries to the European Union. Constantly rising turnover figures show from the success of this strategy.
